Origen
Origin

Performative action in which, through dance, original music and a play of lights, a dancer guides us through a vital experience of struggle, transformation and change.
SYNOPSIS
The piece Origen is born from the need to (re)connect with the origins prior to known human history: a space-time in which art and life are manifested and participate in the belief in unity and equality among people. Through the distortion shown to the public from the inside out, the protagonist of the performative action guides us through a vital experience of struggle, transformation and change. In order to break with the gender normative dictates established by society, the dancer establishes a body-to-body with himself and with a marker, a physical object that defines his limits as well as the margins from which he can free himself.
The original music accompanies this delight in an enveloping atmosphere.
The visitor begins the journey disoriented and absorbed by music made up of sights and sounds that juxtapose him and challenge his curiosity to continue moving forward. The novelty, as well as the acceptance of what is feminine, are essential.
